Another excellent Edublogs.org weblog
This was a thought provoking chapter! I have 4 childrens’ musical CDs in my classroom that another teacher gave me several years ago. I am feeling very guilty right now! I will dispose of them and order originals. I also have 3 teenagers with ipods and will talk with them about this issue. We are setting examples for our students in all that we say and do. Our actions speak louder than words. As far as software on our compuers at school goes….I am sure Carol is doing the right thing. I am now more aware of the rules and ethical standards.
This chapter was a good extension of the activities we did in class on Monday. I would like to explore the RSS feeds. I will need to set up an aggregator account and find feeds. I think I would like to set up feeds from The Tampa Tribune and St. Petersburg Times. I am trying to find a way that I could use blogs with the parents. I already publish a weekly newsletter. I think some parenting articles or great photos taken in class or at special events would work well on the blog. I will continue to think about the benefits of this tool in the prek classroom. I think I shoud research and check out some other pre k blogs.
Yes, I found it again!
I think it is a go???
